MY STORY

Working with a personal trainer was the game-changer that helped me tackle obesity. I experienced not only weight loss, but I realized how a stronger body made everyday life far more gratifying. Because exercise can alter your mindset, it is an incredible catalyst for change.

In my own journey, I saw how much long-term health depends on addressing your underlying habits. That’s why I became a health coach as well as a certified personal trainer (CPT). For over 8 years, I’ve had the joy and honor of supporting those who struggle to find wellness, so that they may realize better health outcomes and improved quality of life.

FIRST MEETING

INITIAL SESSIONS

Learn Your Body & Build Your Foundation

– Help you understand your body
– Establish / correct movement patterns based on mobility
– Set baseline weights, positions
– Build joint, core stability
– Adjust exercises according to limitations or preferences
– Deeper look at routines, sleep & eating habits, stress level, need for accountability
– Foam roll / manual stretching (optional)

ONGOING SESSIONS

Increase Capability, Strength & Stamina

– Increase resistance and add variety as appropriate
– Introduce more compound movements
– Build aerobic capacity as appropriate
– Challenge stability, weaknesses to support goals

Lamees is the best!! I was having trouble finding someone to listen and help me reach my fitness goals, but then I found Lamees! I was a bit overweight and staring down the big 50. My goal was to be strong enough to be able to stay fit as I go into my older years. Other trainers couldn’t get past my weight and wanted to focus on that.

Lamees listened and we worked on strength, core and even some dreaded cardio. She kept it interesting by changing it up each time. As a result I got stronger and, not surprisingly, 10 lbs just dropped off. I didn’t need to focus on weight!!
